**Is your agent allowed to send that cold email?** Precleared gives a per-address legality verdict before the email goes out: the verdict (ok to email, consent needed, blocked or unknown), the rule that decided it with its source, what the email's footer must include, the next step, the facts used, and a receipt signed with our key that anyone can verify. Covers the UK (PECR and UK GDPR), the US (CAN-SPAM), Canada (CASL), Germany (UWG), France (CPCE), Australia (Spam Act 2003), Ireland (S.I. 336/2011) and the Netherlands (Telecommunicatiewet). UK companies are looked up live on Companies House. A check usually takes a few seconds. **Works alongside your email tools**: use it between the step that finds an address (Hunter, Apollo, Clay) and the step that sends (Gmail, Outlook, Instantly, lemlist). One call per new contact, before the first email. **Tools** - `contact_check`: recipient email or domain, your sender country (GB, US or AE), the pitch and where the address came from. Returns the verdict, confidence, reasons with the rule quoted, what the footer must include, the next step, facts and a signed receipt. - `verify_receipt`: a receipt id, returns the receipt with its hashes, Ed25519 signature and public key. **Access**: no sign-in. 100 free checks a day per IP address over MCP (10 over the REST API). A free key from https://precleared.dev/get-key gives you your own allowance: 100 a day over MCP or 25 over the REST API, and every new key starts with a 14-day trial at 100 a day. For more: the £15 a month plan for 100 a day, a £9 starter pack of 300 checks, or £39 for 2,000 checks that never expire. To use a key, send the header `Authorization: Bearer pc_live_...`.
