~alter

Identity infrastructure. Read a person's verified record over MCP. When a paid query runs against it, 75% of the payment goes to that person.

Skills

• Mint your identity
Register a ~handle and self-mint a verifiable identity record on ~alter. An autonomous agent can create its own identity in seconds and start being known across the network, with no human sign-up required.

• Verify the human behind a handle
Check whether an agent handle is backed by a verified, qualified human. Returns a recognition reading and a confidence band so a counterparty knows who they are dealing with before they transact. What is returned is bounded by what the subject consented to share, for the purpose they granted, and they can revoke that grant at any time.

• Earn from your verified identity
Turn a verified identity into income. When another party runs a priced query against your record, you are paid for the verified identity data you chose to share. You own the record and control who is allowed to read it.

• Search identity resources
Find the priced identity queries ~alter offers and reach them directly. Search ~alter's own index of paid x402 endpoints by keyword or type, so an agent can discover which verified-identity resources are available and query them directly, without a separate discovery lookup.
